How to get a debit card or receive a replacement card

Debit cards serve as an easy and convenient way to access the money in your checking account. They are accepted anywhere VISA® is, both online and in-stores. Transactions are quick, secure and, unlike a credit card, no interest is charged on your purchases because the funds come directly from your checking account. Additionally, debit cards are free for Just Checking customers. So, how can you get a debit card from Fidelity Bank?

Option one: visit a branch

For checking customers, there are two main ways to acquire a debit card. The first way is to walk into any Fidelity Bank branch for a preprinted card. All you need with you is a valid driver’s license. To be eligible, you must be over 16, and those who are under 18 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The process is quick and easy. In five to 10 minutes, you will walk out with an instant-issue card that is active and ready to use.

Option two: apply by mail

The second way to get a debit card is to use a mail-in application. This is a good option for those who work a night shift, serve in the military, are homebound or don’t have a chance to visit a branch during business hours. You can print an application, or we can mail it to you with a prepaid return envelope, and you fill it out and mail it back to us.  From there, you’ll receive your debit card within seven to 10 business days. Once received, you will need to call our automated service number listed on your new card to activate it for use.

Get a replacement debit card

If you already have a debit card but need it replaced or reprinted, just visit any Fidelity Bank branchWe can reprint a new card in a matter of minutes. If your card is worn or damaged and needs to be replaced, we can reprint the card with the same card number and expiration date. If your card was lost or stolen, for security reasons, we will replace your card with a new card number and expiration date.
