Student Checking accounts are ineligible for overdraft services, which means there’s no need to worry about expensive overdraft fees.

Student Checking accounts can be opened for children ages 10 to 13 with an adult joint account holder. Children must be at least 14 years of age to open a Student Checking account without an adult joint account holder. Account holders may maintain a Student Checking account until age 21, at which time the account will convert to a Relationship Rewards Checking account. ​
